New Mexico chocolate clay - it has such a rich dark finish

then altered to create this unique form

Most of the interior and exterior is unglazed to reveal the rich

There is a spiral sun carved on the interior of the bowl

Tea cup of many colors Black clay This was wheel thrown butI'm finally ready to part with this pretty coffee cup. The unglazed negative space around the colorful glazed shapes highlights the beauty of the dark brown clay. I mainly tried to choose glaze colors that would 'pop' against the dark clay. See photos for colors! This pottery is food safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe.
